The artist and lyricist.
Astrit Zeka is a truly talented painter and poet. He is a free thinking man and it reflects in his work of art, many even call him a rebel, a brave person who follow his own heart. He prefers to paint in oil and his unique perception of his reality can be seen in the most wonderful and revolutionary piece of arts. He himself explain his art and writing like this;
"I paint the surrealism were the unconscious meet the conscious, were dreams meet reality."
His liberated mindset and rebellious thinking is also seen in his poetry. He often dares to tell in his lyrics what others only imagine to think. Follow on his blog and you´ll see for yourself.
His writing can be seen both as music lyrics, self-inspiring or a ground for cooperation with other musicians.

Astrit is from Tawnik City in Mitrovica, Kosovo. That environment is a movement with striving people - like himself. Since he had his upgrowing in Kosovo - he has the Albanian language as the very root of his expression and has a great respect for it. Albanian is an ancient language and has a deeper soul and many more ways to express it self - then the Swedish language. This makes Astrit strive to bend and extend all the possibilities in the Swedish writing - which he succeeds with brilliantly. The writing has always been the way for him to grow spiritually - to choose glorifying himself with honesty - all feelings front - good or bad.

The art.
Since Astrit has his upgrowing in a artistic family, with a father how is well respected for his cultural contributions. He was already in his early teens recognized as a skilled painter through his exhibitions he had in cooperation's with both his father Sejdi Zeka and also other well known Swedish artists.

As a young artist Astrit was very productive. He as a countless arts behind him - huge paintings that took him a year to finish, client-ordered wall paintings, sketches and drawings, meaningfull symbols & designed logotypes... It´s only a hand full paintings that have had the privilege to get caught on picture. For the rest lays the privilege at the owners. Many of his previous clients actually wished to keep their paintings private.

His art has been seen in many cities though out Sweden - Åhus, Kristianstad, Växjö, in Öland, Malmö, just to mention a few. But also in Milano, Italy and Barcelona, Spain.
In the portfolio is a collection of the art that he chose to keep for his personal use. But you will get a good view of his skills and style.
Buildning art.
Astrit came a cross a cultural association in Småland placed on a old farmyard. Here he seized the opportunity to create something beautiful of what otherwise would be left a side. So with only reused materials and what has been given, he hand built his project from scratch. This project become a piece of a Tiny Art House, in a beautiful scenery and a gallery of handcraft and traditional elements inside.
